The first thing we’ll do is get to know a little more about each other. This can be done with an in person, phone, or e-mail consultation. I want to know the little things that make your family or you and your significant other unique. Your favorite things, fun rituals, and what makes you laugh till your stomach hurts.

We will also go over what you can expect during your session. I even have a handy style guide that will help make the process even easier! Once we have agreed on a date, I will e-mail a retainer invoice and client agreement to you. Then you will officially be on the Alyssa Kay Photography calendar.

A session with me is like hanging out with a friend. No need to worry about children not cooperating! Let them run wild and I will capture every amazing moment. I will guide you through every step while encouraging genuine laughter, love, and fun.

After our time together, I will dedicate my time and experience to editing each of your photos with care and attention to detail. The end result will be your favorite memories in photograph form, ready to be kept forever.

Day in the Life Sessions

two hour session, a 3-5 minute family keepsake film, and approximately 20 high resolution digitals with printing rights

You know those little moments you want to remember for forever? Cuddling in bed on Sunday morning. The sound of giggles in the kitchen while making weekend pancakes. Little voices. Fetch in the park. I want to give you the ability to remember those moments in vivid detail. With Day in the Life Sessions, I do just that.

These sessions last two hours and can be done at a location of choice. Wherever is special to you. We will have an in person or telephone consultation to plan out all the details, like locations and what things you would like to do during your session. To be sure I capture everything perfectly for you, I send out a questionnaire beforehand asking questions about you, your kids, and your significant other. The better I know you, the better I can tell your story!

The day of your session will be very easy and laid back. No need to stress. I will simply just hang out with you for a couple hours. I will be a “fly on the wall” so to speak. Little direction will be given to assure I capture, through film and portraits, genuine moments and interactions. . Making Day in the Life Sessions a complete package.
